Job Description

No prior experience in pest control is required – we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training and fully pay for your professional licensing. This is an incredible opportunity to start a specialist career, working hands-on to identify, treat, and prevent pest infestations in a variety of residential and commercial settings. You will be provided with a company vehicle, tools, and ongoing support to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive training program to achieve professional pest control qualifications (e.g., RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management).
- Conduct thorough inspections of client premises to identify pest types, entry points, and extent of infestation.
- Implement effective and safe pest control treatments using approved methods and products.
- Install and maintain pest monitoring equipment.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on pest prevention and proofing.
- Complete accurate service reports, paperwork, and digital records.
- Manage your daily route efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery to customers.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and refresher training.
Required Skills
- A valid, full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points (essential for field role).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
- Manual dexterity and the physical capability to work in various environments (e.g., attics, basements).
- A keen eye for detail and observation skills.
- Commitment to learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Previous experience in a customer service or field-based role.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
