Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Work From Home Archive Digitization Assistant to join our team. This is a flexible, part-time, fully remote position designed for individuals passionate about preserving history and making valuable resources accessible. In this role, you will be responsible for digitizing a variety of archival materials, ensuring their long-term preservation and discoverability. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to gain experience in digital archiving and information management from the comfort of their home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digitize physical documents, photographs, and other media using provided guidelines and software.
  • Organize, label, and categorize digital files accurately and consistently.
  • Perform data entry to associate metadata with digitized items.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure high resolution and clarity of digitized content.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all archival materials.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Adhere to all project timelines and archiving standards.
