Job Description

Solent Harvest Farms is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Fruit Pickers to join our dedicated team for the upcoming harvest season. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a temporary, seasonal position perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to quality. You’ll be working in a friendly team environment, ensuring our fruit is picked at its prime and handled with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick various types of fruit according to quality standards and ripeness guidelines.
- Sort and pack picked fruit into appropriate containers, ensuring minimal damage.
- Operate basic farm equipment as needed (e.g., picking aids, trolleys) after receiving training.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in the fields.
- Report any issues with fruit quality, plant health, or equipment to supervisors.

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
