Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Newtownabbey. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and trailers are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This is a hands-on position within a wet environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-pressure washing equipment to thoroughly clean the exterior of trucks and trailers.
- Perform exterior cleaning, including wheels, chassis, and cab areas of large vehicles.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures while working in a wet environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area.
- Inspect vehicles for basic cleanliness requirements before and after washing.
- Manage and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
