Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our temporary crew as a Crowd Control Barrier Setup Crew member for various events in the Laredo area. This is a hands-on role requiring strength, stamina, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, assembly, and dismantling of crowd control barriers, fencing, and other event infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport crowd control barriers, barricades, and related equipment to event sites.
- Assemble and dismantle crowd control systems according to event layouts and safety protocols.
- Ensure all barriers are securely placed and stable to manage crowd flow effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members and event staff to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures during setup, teardown, and transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other physical duties as assigned to support event operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role, construction, or event setup.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating basic hand tools or small power equipment.
