Job Description
ASOS is seeking talented and highly motivated Virtual Product Photographers to join our creative network on a contract basis. In this unique role, you will receive products directly to your home studio and be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging product photography that adheres to ASOS brand guidelines. This is a 100% remote opportunity that allows you to manage your own schedule while contributing to a leading e-commerce fashion brand. We’re looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong technical photography skills, and the ability to consistently deliver visually appealing images that drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage product samples shipped directly to your home studio.
- Plan and execute professional product photoshoots following ASOS style guides and specifications.
- Utilize appropriate lighting, backdrops, and props to create compelling imagery.
- Edit and retouch images to meet high quality standards and file specifications.
- Organize and return products in a timely and careful manner.
- Manage workflow and meet deadlines for assigned photography projects.
- Communicate effectively with the ASOS creative team regarding project status and feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless camera equipment and lighting setups.
- Strong understanding of product photography principles, including composition, lighting, and styling.
- Expertise in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Proven ability to follow specific brand guidelines and produce consistent imagery.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home studio space.
- A professional portfolio demonstrating high-quality product photography.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with e-commerce platforms or fashion brands.
- Familiarity with capture software for tethered shooting.
- Ability to photograph products on models or mannequins (if applicable for specific projects).
