Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Theological & Ministry Intern to join our team in Belfast. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to explore and gain practical experience in faith-based community work, theological study application, and ministry operations. The intern will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to various facets of our outreach programs, administrative tasks, and spiritual development initiatives. This role is designed for learning and development, providing a foundational understanding of how a faith-based organization operates daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of community outreach programs and events.
  • Support pastoral care activities, including visitation, group facilitation, and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to theological discussions, research, and resource development for educational programs.
  • Provide administrative support to ministry leaders, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Engage with community members, volunteers, and partners in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, spiritual reflections, and professional development sessions.
  • Help maintain the organization's digital presence by assisting with website updates and social media content creation.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Theology, Divinity, Social Work, Community Development).
