Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Onboarding Specialist to join our growing HR Tech team. This 100% remote role, offering flexible daytime hours, is crucial in ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience for our clients’ new employees. You will be the primary point of contact for new hires, guiding them through the initial stages of their employment using our proprietary HR technology platform. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating exceptional first impressions. Full training on our specific HR tech tools and processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, guiding them through the onboarding process virtually.
  • Facilitate the completion of all necessary new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to new hires regarding our HR technology platform and tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (HR, IT, Managers) to ensure all resources and access are prepared for new employees.
  • Conduct virtual orientation sessions, presenting company culture, policies, and benefits.
  • Track onboarding progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HR information system.
  • Gather feedback from new hires and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
  • Stay updated on best practices in virtual onboarding and HR technology trends.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, administrative, or HR support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with flexible daytime hours.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other HR software platforms.
  • Previous experience in a virtual or remote work setting.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and compliance regulations.
