Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Prioritize calls and dispatch officers and other emergency services to incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, and dispatches using various computer systems.
- Provide callers with clear, concise, and reassuring instructions while awaiting assistance.
- Monitor multiple radio channels and maintain communication with field units.
- Demonstrate empathy and maintain a professional, calm demeanor during high-stress situations.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and ethical standards of North Yorkshire Police.
