Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and discreet individual to join our specialized team as a Crime Scene Cleaner. This crucial role involves responding to challenging and sensitive environments, including crime scenes, accident scenes, and other biohazard situations under public sector contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the meticulous cleaning, disinfection, and restoration of affected areas. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and a compassionate approach to working in difficult circumstances. Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for crime scene and biohazard cleanup.
• Assess damage and contamination levels at various sites.
• Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and decontamination of affected areas.
• Safely remove and dispose of biohazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Utilize specialized equipment and chemicals to neutralize odors and restore environments.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA, HAZWOPER, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory and proper functioning of specialized cleaning equipment.
• Document all actions taken, including site conditions and remediation steps.
• Interact with clients and public sector representatives with professionalism and empathy.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and methodical work ethic.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and safety procedures precisely.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
• Compassionate and discreet demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in biohazard remediation, crime scene cleanup, or emergency services.
• Certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens, confined space entry, or other relevant safety trainings.
• Experience working under public sector contracts.
• Strong understanding of chemical handling and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
