Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bail Bonds Administrative Clerk to join our team in Matane. This is a unique opportunity to work within the legal support industry, providing essential administrative services in a fast-paced and sensitive environment. The role involves shift work, which may include evenings and weekends, to ensure continuous support for our clients. You will be responsible for managing confidential client information, processing paperwork, coordinating with legal professionals, and maintaining organized office operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Process bail bond applications and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and case information.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, legal counsel, court officials, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Manage and organize physical and digital client files.
  • Handle incoming calls and walk-in inquiries with discretion and professionalism.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all provincial and federal regulations pertaining to bail bond services.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and sensitive environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
