Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior perfumers and product developers in the formulation and evaluation of fragrance compounds.
- Prepare and organize fragrance samples for various testing and evaluation sessions.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and maintain detailed records of observations and results.
- Support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Perform data entry and basic analysis to support ongoing research and development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, to ensure product success.
- Research industry trends, new raw materials, and competitive landscape to inform development efforts.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Perfumery Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.
- Demonstrated interest in fragrances, sensory science, or consumer product development.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous academic or industrial laboratory experience, especially in a fragrance or consumer product environment.
- Familiarity with various analytical techniques used in fragrance chemistry (e.g., GC-MS).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate observations and findings clearly.
