Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Relocation Assistants to join our Griffith team. This is a full-time position focused on assisting with the careful packing, loading, unloading, and setting up of furniture and belongings during residential and commercial relocations. If you are physically fit, possess a positive attitude, and are looking for a role with weekly pay and opportunities to grow within a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pack, wrap, and protect household goods and furniture.
- Load and unload items onto and off removal trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
- Assist with the placement of items in new locations according to client instructions.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and equipment.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and a careful approach to handling client possessions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our depot in Griffith.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar physically demanding role (e.g., warehousing, logistics, construction) is a plus but not essential.
- First Aid certification.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain.
