Job Description

Coastal Climate Control Pty Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Air Con Offsiders to join our busy team in Rockingham, particularly in preparation for high summer demand. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals eager to learn the ropes of the HVAC industry. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel. As an Offsider, you will play a crucial supporting role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various air conditioning systems, working alongside experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with the installation, servicing, and repair of air conditioning systems.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers.
- Perform general labouring duties as directed, such as cleaning up work sites.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work vehicle and equipment.
- Provide support in diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Interact professionally with clients, representing the company with a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License (manual preferred).
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Basic understanding of tools or desire to learn practical skills.
- Prior experience in a labouring or trade assistant role (not essential but beneficial).
