Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all theoretical and practical training modules.
  • Learn and accurately perform venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques on diverse patient populations under direct supervision.
  • Understand and adhere to all infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Properly identify patients, label specimens, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
  • Assist with other laboratory support tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior phlebotomy experience required; full paid training provided.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with patients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Basic computer literacy.
