Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Generalist Intern to join our Corporate HR team in Truganina. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment. You will support various HR functions, contributing to projects and daily operations that impact our diverse workforce. This role is ideal for an individual eager to learn the fundamentals of Human Resources and develop practical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
  • Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and conducting background checks.
  • Contribute to onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.
  • Help prepare HR reports and presentations, gathering data and insights.
  • Support employee relations activities by assisting with documentation and follow-ups.
  • Research HR best practices and contribute to policy development and review.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as system implementations, training initiatives, or employee engagement programs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices (gained through coursework or prior exposure).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus but not required.
