Job Description
Join the enthusiastic team at KidzFun Zone Maryborough as a Play Centre Attendant for casual weekend day shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for energetic and reliable individuals passionate about creating joyful and safe experiences for children. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those looking to start their career in customer service or childcare, or simply to earn some extra income on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children in various play areas to ensure their safety and adherence to rules.
- Engage positively with children and parents, fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for all play equipment and general facilities.
- Assist with the efficient setup and thorough cleaning for children's parties and special events.
- Handle basic inquiries from visitors, providing helpful information about our services and facilities.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to management.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and families.
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly for scheduled weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain composure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Basic first aid knowledge or a willingness to obtain relevant certification.
- A valid Working With Children Check (Blue Card) or the commitment to obtain one prior to commencement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or childcare-related role.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Experience in event support or hosting children's parties.
