Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Mobile Car Valeter to join our team in Crawley and the surrounding West Sussex area. As a Mobile Car Valeter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interior and exterior valeting services to a diverse range of vehicles at client locations. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be equipped with all necessary tools and a company vehicle to perform your duties effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various client locations (homes, offices, dealerships) within the designated service area.
- Perform comprehensive interior valeting, including vacuuming, carpet/upholstery cleaning, dashboard conditioning, and window cleaning.
- Execute thorough exterior valeting, including washing, waxing, polishing, tire dressing, and window cleaning.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and address any specific client requests or areas requiring extra attention.
- Manage and maintain valeting equipment and supplies, ensuring they are always in excellent working order.
- Handle payments and complete necessary paperwork or digital records accurately.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all clients, representing Sparkle & Shine UK's brand standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in car valeting or detailing (professional or high-level personal experience).
- Full valid UK driving license with a clean record.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of different car cleaning products and their appropriate use.
- Basic understanding of vehicle care and maintenance.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends.
