Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Distribution Centre Hands to join our busy team in Gosford, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our supply chain. You will play a crucial role in the movement and handling of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. We offer excellent hourly rates, penalty rates for evening/weekend shifts, and regular opportunities for overtime, providing a fantastic earning potential for dedicated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to specified requirements, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks safely and securely.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, electric reach trucks) as required and trained.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines diligently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment.
- Current Forklift Licence (LF Class) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
