Job Description

FunFest Entertainment Complex is seeking dynamic and high-energy Party Hosts to lead our children’s birthday parties! This is an incredible opportunity for someone who loves to engage with kids, orchestrate exciting activities, and ensure every birthday child feels like a superstar. Full training will be provided – your enthusiasm is your most important qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome birthday families and guests with a warm, energetic greeting.
- Lead a variety of party games and activities, ensuring all children are engaged and having fun.
- Manage party timelines, ensuring smooth transitions between activities, food service, and cake cutting.
- Serve food and drinks to party guests efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized party room before, during, and after each event.
- Interact positively with children and parents, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Ensure all party guests have a memorable and joyful experience.
- Assist with basic party setup and breakdown as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional enthusiasm and high energy levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and parents.
- A natural ability to entertain and engage groups of children.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude and a genuine love for making people happy.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different party dynamics.
- Full availability on weekends and during school holiday periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or entertainment role (even informal childcare).
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Basic First Aid certification.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
