Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our night cleaning team as an Abattoir Cleaner at our Murray Bridge facility. This is a critical full-time role responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our processing areas. Working night shifts, you will ensure all equipment and facilities meet stringent hygiene regulations, contributing directly to food safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all abattoir production areas, including floors, walls, and equipment.
- Operate high-pressure hoses and other cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning as required.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages to supervisors.
- Adhere to all food safety standards and HACCP principles.
- Participate in ongoing training and safety briefings.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes during night shifts.
