Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical E-commerce Data Specialist to join our growing team in Fremantle. In this role, you will be instrumental in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on sales trends, customer behavior, and website performance to inform strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to e-commerce sales, website traffic, customer demographics, and marketing campaign performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in e-commerce data to provide strategic recommendations for sales growth, inventory management, and marketing optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant analytical support.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support new initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various e-commerce platforms and reporting tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in e-commerce analytics and data visualization.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
