Job Description
Join Wells Fargo as a Taxpayer Support Representative, focusing exclusively on inbound calls. In this hybrid role based in Reno, NV, you will be the first point of contact for taxpayers seeking assistance with a variety of tax-related inquiries. You will provide clear, accurate, and empathetic guidance, helping customers navigate their tax questions and resolve issues efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Full training will be provided on our systems, tax protocols, and customer interaction best practices to ensure your success in supporting our diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from taxpayers seeking assistance with tax-related inquiries.
- Provide accurate information and guidance on tax forms, filing procedures, and general tax questions.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the company's CRM system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior specialists or appropriate departments as needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and tax compliance regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with tax laws and company offerings.
