Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our dynamic team for casual night shifts. If you hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you! This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible evening work, providing excellent service and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our historic hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and efficiently.
- Process cash and electronic payments accurately using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Monitor patron behaviour and adhere strictly to RSA guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints with a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (Queensland).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and calmly in a busy environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- A positive attitude and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Basic cash handling abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality setting.
- Basic knowledge of cocktails and drink preparation.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
