Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Harvest Assistants for various agricultural operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to complete their 88-day regional work requirement for their Australian working holiday visa. You will play a crucial role in the harvesting process, working outdoors in a dynamic and supportive environment. Full training will be provided, making this role accessible even if you have no prior experience in agriculture. Come be a part of a team that contributes to Australia’s vital food production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks related to crop harvesting, including picking, packing, and sorting produce.
- Operate basic farm machinery and equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Assist with quality control to ensure produce meets company standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the fields and packing sheds.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Manual handling of produce and equipment as required.
