Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Seafood Processing Workers. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay in a dynamic, fast-paced, and wet processing environment. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You will be responsible for various stages of seafood preparation, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and hygiene. This role requires individuals who are comfortable working with raw seafood, can withstand colder temperatures, and are capable of performing repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks related to seafood processing, including sorting, cleaning, gutting, filleting, and packing fish and shellfish.
- Operate processing machinery safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the shift.
- Monitor product quality and report any discrepancies or issues to supervision.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other general duties as required by management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a wet, cold, and fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
