Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Tioga Downs Casino Resort as a Slot Machine Attendant! We’re seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Slot Machine Attendant, you’ll be the face of our gaming floor, ensuring our guests have an exceptional and seamless experience while enjoying their favorite slot games. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all casino guests on the slot floor
- Assist guests with minor slot machine malfunctions, provide basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues to technicians
- Process jackpot payouts accurately and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory procedures
- Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity or security concerns and report immediately
- Maintain a clean and orderly slot floor, ensuring machines are wiped down and areas are free of debris
- Educate guests on game rules, loyalty programs, and promotional offers
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage cash and ticket-in/ticket-out (TITO) transactions responsibly
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Basic mathematical skills for processing payouts
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
- Prior cash handling experience in a retail or casino setting
- Familiarity with casino gaming regulations
