Job Description
As a Wholesale Order Selector, you will be a vital part of our distribution team, responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products in our warehouse using a voice-activated picking system. Your role directly contributes to our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers. This position involves working in various temperature zones, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize voice-picking technology to accurately select product cases from warehouse racks based on customer orders.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or forklifts safely to transport selected products to the loading dock.
- Stack products neatly and securely on pallets, ensuring stability for transport.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Prior experience with voice-activated picking systems.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
