Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Abattoir / Slaughterhouse Cleaner for an extreme washdown role. This is a crucial position ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety within a critical food processing environment. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, machinery, and equipment after daily operations. This role demands a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and meticulous attention to detail. Full training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in all cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and the use of specialized equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive washdown and sanitation of slaughterhouse floors, walls, and processing areas.
- Dismantle and clean processing machinery and equipment according to strict hygiene protocols.
- Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment and other specialized tools safely and effectively.
- Apply approved detergents and sanitizers to eliminate bacteria and ensure a sterile environment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Remove waste and debris from processing areas.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient completion of cleaning tasks.
