Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Manheim New England is seeking enthusiastic Auto Auction Lot Drivers to join our team in Manchester, NH. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving a wide variety of vehicles through the auction process. Every day brings new cars and new challenges, offering a unique opportunity to experience diverse vehicle types and contribute to the smooth operation of our busy auction lot. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone with a valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently drive vehicles to and from designated areas on the auction lot.
- Inspect vehicles for any new damage prior to moving them and report findings accurately.
- Stage vehicles for auction, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating vehicles on company property.
- Assist with general lot organization and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support auction operations.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot minor damage.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, walking, and light lifting for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving a variety of vehicle types, including manual transmission.
- Previous experience in a lot attendant or vehicle mover role.
- Familiarity with auction operations or the automotive industry.
