Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as an Automated Car Wash Tunnel Cleaner. This after-hours position involves specialized wet work to maintain the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our automated car wash tunnel. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring our equipment is spotless for the next day’s operations. This is a critical role to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of automated car wash tunnel equipment, walls, and floors using high-pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning solutions.
- Remove soap residue, dirt, grime, and debris from all surfaces within the wash tunnel.
- Clean and clear drains and filtration systems to prevent blockages.
- Inspect equipment for basic wear and tear and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain a tidy work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, especially during wet work and chemical handling.
- Work independently and efficiently during late-night/early morning hours.
- Ensure the facility is ready for opening by the start of the next business day.
Required Skills
- Ability to work after hours (late evenings/early mornings).
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a wet environment.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and high-pressure washing equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.
- Experience with power washing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
