Job Description
We are seeking empathetic, responsible, and engaging Babysitters to join our network of caregivers in Wolverhampton. This role involves providing attentive and nurturing care for children in their homes, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities. You will be matched with local families based on your availability and preferences, offering flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and stimulating care for children in a home environment.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age.
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for children, adhering to any dietary restrictions.
- Follow established routines for meals, naps, and bedtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their child's day.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Handle minor first aid situations and respond to emergencies appropriately.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable experience caring for children (informal or formal).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and household rules.
- Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Paediatric First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ, CACHE).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Own transport and valid UK driving licence.
