Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bail Bonds Administrative Clerk to join our team in Old Town Belleville, IL. This is a vital on-site role within a fast-paced and unique industry, requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively across various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. As an Administrative Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for many clients, providing crucial administrative support, processing paperwork, and ensuring smooth operations for our bail bond services. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, both over the phone and in person, providing information and support.
  • Accurately complete and process bail bond applications, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain confidential client records with meticulous attention to detail and data security.
  • Process payments, manage cash and electronic transactions, and prepare daily reports.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, family members, legal counsel, and court personnel.
  • Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to bail bond services.
  • Adhere to scheduled shift requirements, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Assist with follow-up communication regarding court dates and client obligations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or office support experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Flexibility and availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience in a legal, justice system, or public safety setting.
