Job Description

Are you passionate about freshly baked goods and eager to learn the art of baking? Greggs in Wolverhampton is looking for an enthusiastic Bakers Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with no prior baking experience, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in preparing, baking, and presenting our wide range of products, ensuring our customers always receive the highest quality items. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist bakers with the preparation of various doughs and fillings.
  • Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
  • Assist in decorating and finishing baked goods, such as pastries, cakes, and sandwiches.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation and bakery area.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards diligently.
  • Support the team in managing stock and ingredient rotation.
  • Ensure all products meet Greggs' quality and presentation standards.
