Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Boutique Hotel Manager to lead our exquisite property in Honolulu, Hawaii. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a deep passion for luxury hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. As the Boutique Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, financial performance, and team development. You will cultivate a unique atmosphere that reflects the charm and elegance of our boutique offering, while driving continuous improvement and guest loyalty. This position offers Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) availability for eligible international candidates, demonstrating our commitment to attracting global talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution and high efficiency.
  • Champion an exceptional guest experience, consistently exceeding expectations and fostering lasting relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hotel professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Manage financial performance, including budget planning, revenue generation, cost control, and profitability optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local ordinances.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, drive occupancy, and increase average daily rates.
  • Oversee property maintenance, ensuring facilities are impeccably maintained and reflect the luxury brand image.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to develop promotional activities and achieve business objectives.
  • Represent the hotel in the local community and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and management experience within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and standard office applications.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager in a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Japanese or Korean, are a plus.
  • Knowledge of the local Honolulu market and tourism industry trends.
  • Experience with pre-opening or renovation projects.
