Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand Marketing Lead to join our consumer goods division. This high-impact role will be responsible for developing and executing innovative brand strategies that drive market share, enhance brand perception, and deliver significant commercial results. You will lead key marketing initiatives from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and resonance with our target consumers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans for assigned consumer goods categories.
- Lead the ideation, development, and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, in-store, and traditional media.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer insights and emerging trends.
- Manage brand budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Collaborate with product development, sales, supply chain, and insights teams to bring new products to market and optimize existing portfolios.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure high-quality output and project delivery.
- Present brand performance, strategies, and plans to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, preferably within the consumer goods or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights, market research methodologies, and analytical tools.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing projects or small teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA).
- Experience with private label brand development and management.
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
- Prior experience working with large retail organizations or grocery chains.
- Knowledge of the Australian consumer goods market and regulatory landscape.
