Job Description
Are you physically fit, reliable, and ready to get stuck into a rewarding outdoor role? Coastal Construction WA is seeking a motivated Brickie’s Offsider to join our team in Carnarvon. This is a demanding but highly rewarding position offering top pay for hard work. You’ll be an essential part of our bricklaying crew, assisting skilled bricklayers and ensuring the smooth progress of our construction projects. While previous experience in construction is a bonus, it is not essential; we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical stamina required for this demanding role. Full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Mixing and preparing mortar to specific consistency.
- Transporting bricks, blocks, and other materials to bricklayers.
- Setting up and packing down work areas, ensuring a safe and organized site.
- Assisting with the setup of scaffolding and other equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
- General site cleanup and waste removal.
- Following all safety protocols and site regulations.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Commitment to safety on the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid C-class driver's license.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Previous experience in a laboring or outdoor physical role.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Carnarvon, WA.
