Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Bulk Goods Handlers to join our heavy industry operations in Perth. This is an ongoing full-time position offering stable employment and opportunities for growth within a world-class organization. As a Bulk Goods Handler, you will be crucial to the efficient movement and management of various bulk materials, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to stringent safety protocols. You will operate a range of heavy machinery and contribute to a productive and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, front-end loaders, and excavators to move and handle bulk materials.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, trains, and storage facilities safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and material tracking.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall site safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational status and potential issues.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, loaders) in an industrial or warehouse setting.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Current and valid Australian driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High Risk Work Licence (e.g., LF for forklift, LO for order picker).
  • Experience with bulk material handling systems.
  • Previous experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector.
  • First Aid certification.
