Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fremantle, Western Australia. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate eager to start their career in the oil and gas industry. You will be instrumental in supporting the integrity management of our extensive pipeline network, ensuring safe and reliable operations. This role offers comprehensive training and mentorship, providing you with the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to become a skilled professional in pipeline integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of pipeline integrity data.
  • Support the preparation of integrity assessments, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in pipeline inspections, surveys, and maintenance activities.
  • Learn and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of integrity management plans.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments on integrity projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to pipeline integrity.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of motivation and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • No prior professional experience in pipeline integrity is required; full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an internship or co-op program in an engineering field.
  • Basic understanding of pipeline systems or oil and gas operations.
  • Familiarity with CAD software or data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) principles.
  • Academic projects or coursework related to materials science or corrosion.
