Job Description
Are you eager to launch your career in design and drafting? Pioneer Design & Engineering is offering an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Cadet Draftsperson. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with little to no prior experience who is keen to learn the fundamentals of drafting and master industry-standard software like Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn Revit and BIM software.
- Assist senior Draftspersons and Engineers with various project tasks.
- Prepare and modify technical drawings, plans, and designs under supervision.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems.
- Learn to interpret engineering sketches, red-line mark-ups, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
- Adhere to company standards, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
- A genuine interest in design, architecture, or engineering.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with common office software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Any prior exposure to CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a bonus but not required.
