Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Entry Level Shipping Clerk to join our team in Horsham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in logistics and supply chain management. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with all the necessary skills for success. You will play a vital role in our shipping department, focusing on accurate data entry, organizing shipments, and ensuring the smooth flow of parcels through our depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry for incoming and outgoing shipments using our internal systems.
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests.
- Organize and sort parcels for dispatch, ensuring correct routes and destinations.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock control as required.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the shipping department.
- Follow all company safety and operational procedures.
- Support the wider warehouse team with various tasks as needed.
