Job Description
Are you looking for an easy, entry-level job where you can learn new skills and be part of a great team? The Daily Grind Cafe is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cafe Runners to join our friendly crew in Victor Harbor. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to start their career in hospitality, as no prior experience is required! We’ll provide all the training you need to succeed. Your main role will be to ensure our customers receive their orders promptly and that our dining area remains clean and inviting. If you’re a quick learner, have a positive attitude, and enjoy a dynamic work environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen/barista station to customer tables efficiently and accurately
- Clear tables of dirty dishes, cutlery, and glassware, returning them to the dishwashing area
- Assist waitstaff and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including sweeping, wiping tables, and restocking condiments
- Reset tables for new customers, ensuring all necessary items are in place
- Monitor inventory of napkins, straws, and other table supplies, and replenish as needed
- Help with basic opening and closing duties as instructed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Required Skills
