Clarence Valley Cleaners is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Carpet Cleaning Offsider to join our dynamic team in Grafton. This is an excellent entry-level position where you will receive comprehensive training and support to become a skilled professional in in-home carpet and upholstery cleaning.
As a Carpet Cleaning Offsider, you will work alongside our experienced technicians, providing essential support for various cleaning projects across homes and businesses in the Grafton area. You will learn the ropes of operating professional cleaning equipment, applying industry-best practices, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with the setup and pack-down of carpet cleaning equipment.
- Prepare work areas by moving light furniture and laying protective coverings.
- Pre-treat stained areas and assist with the application of cleaning solutions.
- Operate cleaning machinery under supervision, once trained.
- Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is ready for the next job.
- Support technicians in delivering high-quality cleaning services to clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in carpet cleaning is required; full training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current valid Australian driver's license (manual preferred, but not essential).
- Previous experience in a customer service or physical labor role is a plus, but not mandatory.
