Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in retail? Tesco in Trowbridge is actively seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Cashier & Front End Associates. No prior experience is required – we believe in investing in our people and providing comprehensive training to help you succeed. This is an immediate opening for a full-time position where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for all our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system.
- Handle cash, card, and other payment methods according to company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and assisting with product location.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front-end area, including shelves and checkout lanes.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer loyalty program sign-ups.
- Promote store offers and services to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
