Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to accurately process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Scan merchandise, bag items, and collect payments (cash, credit/debit cards, other payment methods).
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide general store information.
- Handle cash and maintain an accurate till throughout your shift.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding cash handling and security.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
- Process price checks and apply coupons or discounts as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by store management.
Required Skills
- Ability to handle cash and basic math skills.
