Job Description
We are seeking reliable and energetic Casual Packers to join our team at the Bundaberg distribution centre. This role offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to choose your shifts and work days to fit your personal schedule. As a Casual Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring products are packed safely and according to quality standards. This is an entry-level position where full training will be provided, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work without prior specific experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack various products according to order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Organise and label packed goods for efficient dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trolleys) safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, lift (up to 15kg), and move for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count products.
