Job Description
Join the Rydges Rockhampton team as a Part-time Mini-Bar Attendant. In this routine day shift role, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest mini-bars are fully stocked, clean, and accurately accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of guest service and comfort. We are looking for a reliable individual who enjoys a dynamic work environment and is eager to contribute to a positive guest experience. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently restock mini-bar items in guest rooms according to established par levels.
- Verify and record consumed mini-bar items accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mini-bar carts and storage areas.
- Inspect mini-bar items for expiry dates and product quality.
- Communicate any guest requests or maintenance issues observed during rounds.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding mini-bar service and guest privacy.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Report discrepancies or lost items to the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Basic numeracy for inventory tracking.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies (up to 10kg).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage handling.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate (or willingness to obtain).
