Job Description
Are you ready to join a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment? We are immediately hiring for diligent and efficient Scan & Pack Warehouse Clerks in Mississauga, Ontario. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately scanning and packing customer orders, ensuring they are prepared for shipment with speed and precision. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a high-volume setting, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately scan items using handheld devices to ensure proper inventory tracking.
- Carefully pack customer orders into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring items are secure and protected.
- Verify order contents against packing lists to prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 49 lbs), and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
