Job Description
Bidfood UK is seeking a reliable and professional Catering Van Driver to join our Milton Keynes team. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of catering supplies to various events and clients across the region. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading a wide range of food and non-food items, maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle care. A clean driving license is essential, and experience with multi-drop deliveries is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van for multi-drop deliveries of catering supplies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure transit and accurate delivery to clients.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and food hygiene standards.
- Conduct pre-delivery vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Bidfood UK professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including picking and packing, as required.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet tight deadlines for event drop-offs.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving License (Category B or higher) with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of local Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or catering logistics.
