This is an exciting entry-level opportunity offering high pay and comprehensive on-the-job machine operation training. You will play a crucial role in various civil construction projects, from site preparation to final touches, while gaining valuable skills operating heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople and machine operators on various construction sites.
- Perform manual labour tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and general site cleanup.
- Learn to operate a variety of civil construction machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., excavators, skid steers, rollers).
- Prepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
- Assist with the installation of pipes, utilities, and other infrastructure components.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
